Portraits

Making a portrait is a kind of collaborative process with the subject, and it is both exciting and terrifying.

The challenge and satisfaction comes lies in discovering the gestures, expressions, colours, and setting that expresses a person’s character. Human beings are endlessly interesting and a portrait sets out to capture a quiet, transformative depth and profundity in the human condition.
