Figurative  charcoal drawings and oil paintings, portraits of studio colleagues at work, involved in their everyday tasks or movement.

These paintings and drawings were originally made for a Bridge Street Studios group exhibition titled ‘Just Like Soho’, mounted in the Basement Gallery, Dundalk.

“Just Like Soho” is how a visiting Polish journalist described the Bridge Street area.

The 7 artists in the studios created an exhibition of work inspired by this idea, interpreting their relationships with their space, place and each other through works in ceramics, textiles, painting and mixed media.
